Founded in June 1999 by Rick Sperando and Scott Underwood, Black Diamond Plumbing & Mechanical has been providing world-class customer service to the Chicagoland area for over 20 years. About Our Services

1999: Black Diamond Plumbing started

2000: moved into first office space

2004: moved into Tek Drive office space

2005: Electrical division started

2009: HVAC division started & 10-year anniversary

2011: Acquired Ron’s Heating and Air Conditioning, implemented full-time call center at Black Diamond and started Aeroseal division

2012: Acquired Progressive Heating & Air Conditioning and named Business of the Year by Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce

2014: Acquired Axberg Heating & Cooling and celebrated 15-year anniversary

2015: Moved to current office location at 1400 Miller Parkway

2018: Acquired Abrahamson’s

2019: Celebrated 20-year anniversary

One of key principles is surrounding ourselves with the best people. At Black Diamond, we hire professionals who are skilled and the best in their craft. Our training facilities allow technicians to hone their skills, learn new techniques and stay up to date on the latest technologies to better serve our customers. Our certifications include NADCA-Certified duct cleaning services, Licensed Electricians, Licensed Plumbers, and ongoing in-house education.
