Rodding vs. Hydro Jetting

You might be asking, “what’s the difference between rodding and hydro jetting?” Well, rodding involves using a machine with heavy-duty cables that have sharp, precision blades at the end of it. The blades rotate rapidly to cut through the root network or blockage in your pipes. Rodding clears the drain path, so the inside of the pipe can be examined. On the other hand, hydro jetting is mainly used for clogs involving oil, sludge, or grease. A specialized, high-pressure hose is moved through the pipe until the blockage is cleared.
