I was very happy with Andrew. It was a little wet out. He wore covers on his shoes. I was interested, so he showed me what he was doing & why. Price is reasonable, but the service & convenience is good. When I need Black Diamond they are dependable & there. Everything was explained today.

Doug and Matt from black diamond, were great. So professional in appearance and work ethic, I knew they knew their 'stuff', the minute they walked in. I felt very much at ease that my big repair would be done correctly, safely, and timely. They explained exactly what was happening and what they needed to do and why. I will recommend Black diamond to anyone! I am so impressed! And they really did great cleaning up afterwards too! 😀
What a help!

Tim did a great job in getting my A/C up and running again! He was able to get to me 2 hours earlier than scheduled, and called me to confirm this first. When he arrived, he was courteous and timely in getting the repairs done. He explained (in clear terms) what was wrong with my A/C unit, and showed me before and after his work. Great job Tim (and Black Diamond).... you guys are the best!
Great Service, but I have been told you are very expensive. See comments below
David - Schaumburg, IL
I was willing to pay a premium for the exceptional service and promptness of response. I did not get other quotes from other companies, since money is not much of a concern for me, but I was told by a "gas company service man" that that your company has a reputation of being very expensive. I personally would rather have the best in quality, dependability and service rather than the best price. So I am satisfied.

Rick was very knowledgeable, professional and very clean. I appreciate his respecting my home by wearing the "booties" before entering my house. Some service men do not bother putting on the booties before entering the house and I will not say anything, - but I do cringe when I see that. I will be calling Black Diamond again and ask for Rick to do my next project.
Great service in a timely manner!

I needed a water heater replaced asap. The dispatcher was able to move up my appt time when a tech became available earlier in the day. Josh was professional, courteous and explained everything completely before and after the installation. This is the second positive experience I've had with Black Diamond. I highly recommend them, especially if you need work done immediately.
K - Schaumburg, IL
I can always trust Black Diamond. Doug installed a new water heater and was very professional. Pointed out a few things that needed to be corrected from work done by someone else. Took about 4 1/2 hours -5 hrs from start to finish and Doug worked continuously until it was completed. It's in a tight spot and care was needed to remove and install the new one.
Great Customer Service
Stephaine - Schaumburg, IL
Rick did an awesome job with all the electrical work we had done in our home. On time and stayed until the job was complete - well into the evening. It's not everyday that you find service like that anymore. We would recommend Rick to anyone.

Founded as a German enclave within a largely English-speaking region, Schaumburg grew in tandem with the other communities on the fertile plain to the northwest of Chicago. By the 1870s, it was a bustling agricultural trade town with a number of native businesses and plenty of connections to the outside world. Although the region’s agricultural economy took a hit during the lean years of the Great Depression, Schaumburg’s proximity to Chicago ensured that it continued to grow. By the 1960s, it had developed a reputation as a tony bedroom and second-home community for well-to-do Chicagoans. These days, a healthy civic life and strong economic connections to the nearby city make Schaumburg a great place to live and work.
Schaumburg lies squarely within the Golden Corridor region, a subdivision of Chicagoland that contains many of the area’s most recognizable businesses and institutions. The village is served by Interstate 90 as well as state routes like Illinois Highways 72 and 58. Physically, much of Schaumburg’s land has been divided up for commercial or residential development, and the village now features a patchwork of high-density and low-density neighborhoods. Nevertheless, protected areas like Gray Farm Park and Ned Brown Preserve offer glimpses of the land’s pristine state. Given the general affluence of the area, it shouldn’t be surprising that a significant amount of Schaumburg’s land area has been divided up into public and private golf courses like famed Walnut Greens Golf Course.
Population and Demographics
Although Schaumburg is legally incorporated as a village, it’s quite a large village: As of the last Census count, it was home to nearly 75,000 people. Moreover, its convenient location and abundance of economic opportunity virtually guarantees that it will continue to grow for some time to come. Like other communities in the area, Schaumburg is home to many families with school-age children as well as a number of single professionals and retirees. Although it lies less than 30 miles from the Loop, in-town corporate headquarters like Motorola’s and Zurich North America’s entice many residents to work locally.

Climate and Weather
Schaumburg has a temperate climate that’s typified by warm summers, dynamic transitional seasons and cold winters. During the winter months, frequent bouts of sunshine and mild weather make it easy for locals to get out and enjoy the fresh snow cover. Meanwhile, summer’s cool lake breezes attract boaters to the region’s many bodies of water. Gardeners can generally begin planting outdoors by the end of April and remain invested until at least the middle of October. Much of Schaumburg’s annual precipitation falls as rain or ice during the transitional seasons.
