I posted a negative review of Black Diamond earlier today. While I am disappointed that there was a lot of miscommunication. The company is coming out to rectify the situation. Tony the Supervisor was very agreeable to get the job done and done to the customer's (me) satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Black Diamond to friends and family.

I am hugely disappointed in Black Diamond. I requested the install of 3 fans for our bedrooms. Doug, a very respectful service man gave me an estimate. A week later Doug and an apprentice showed to do the installs. After the fans were installed Doug showed me that they were working. I should have asked Doug to show me step by step how the fans and lights were working. What I came to find out later that night was that I could not work the lights and fans independently. When I called to complain about this Black Diamond sent out another electrician. He told me I was originally quoted on just bringing electric to the fan so the fan works. I did not request that the lights work separately from the fans. How am I to know that I had to ask for this? I am not an electrician. I bought fans with lights and remotes. They couldn't even install 2 out of 3 fans with remotes. I am now being told I have to pay another $420 on top of the $1450 I already paid - because I did not ask for the functionality. I only asked them to install the fans. I called on Saturday after the second service man left giving me the $420 additional quote. I left a message asking for the owner Rick to call me. I was told Tony the Supervisor would call me that day. It is two days later and I have heard nothing. I'm furious.

I recently used Black Diamond for plumbing needs and they did a fantastic job by quickly responding to my inquiry, setting up a prompt service time and the service completed was done effectively and with high customer service. A couple weeks after our plumbing needs we realized we needed some electrical help and called Black Diamond once again. They were highly responsive and our electrical needs were met with the job completed in an hour. I cannot recommend Black Diamond enough - they are our go to folks for our home needs!
