Job Title:                                 Marketing Coordinator

Reports to:                              Vice President of Business Development

Work Hours:                           Monday-Friday; after hours as needed

Pay Scale:                                Commensurate with experience

 

Position Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator position is responsible for overseeing projects and activities to help develop the marketing campaigns and branding of the Black Diamond Family of Businesses.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the marketing budget determined as a percent to sale based on total revenue
  • Negotiate contracts for all advertising mediums within the budget
  • Manage online presence and reputation
  • Including PPC and SEO programs as well as social media presence
  • Responding to online reviews
  • Track ROI for applicable advertising mediums
  • Manage all campaigns to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Determine strategy to grow business in specific geographic locations, verticals, etc.
  • Coordinate all aspects of applicable Expos and Home Shows including staffing
  • Attend applicable Expos, Home Shows and Community Events as a company representative
  • Develop and analyze strategy for customer retention
  • Participate in lead generating groups to promote the company (i.e. referral groups)
  • Represent the company in local chambers and participate in chamber functions and events
  • Involvement in community organizations
  • Create/Write Advertising campaigns for radio, TV, and print
  • Includes the everyday use of Adobe Creative Cloud products
  • Content management and collaboration of proprietary training software (S.O.F.I.E.)
  • Analyze data and create reports based on current advertising campaigns
  • Must be available for late night and/or weekend activities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent, two plus years of marketing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of internet marketing, search engine optimization, and social media a plus
  • Ability to manage a budget a plus
  • Experience with WordPress and website design a plus
  • Ability to negotiate contracts a plus
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to routinely present material to a variety of people and varying organizational levels
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
